Lord , Life Sucks !!

Hope and dreams
Mirages and self comforting
How long can a man live on these
Doing everything as we got someone to please
I see people living and enjoing their life
Some have expensive gifts and some beautiful wives
All I got is a distant voice and set of silly choices
Only time I feel wanted is when a letter gets to me through post
Even that finds me after a lot of effort

It feels like the system has forgotten to put me in the scheme of events
Fat lady is out there to charm everyone and give me few more dents
I am dead in my coffin and life knocks to ask me for the rent
Lord almighty , I ask , for once can the rules be bent

I have hoped and kept patience
Its time I be rewarded for my deeds
There is a lot that I dream , there is a lot that I need
 Move your wand and sow the seeds
Of a life that is envied by the mere mortals
Where all the directions come with good luck and open the treasure portals
